Nucleosophia

I have been interested in nuclear power... ever since. I started learning about it around 2010, during the time of my studies. My professional career went in a different direction and for several year I lost track on what is going on in the nuclear industry. At some point I realized that I am dissatisfied with my job and miss following what I once was researching with so much joy. Soon I coined a plan of how to get back in touch with the topic and possibly find a job related to it.

News and science channels and podcasts are plentiful on social media. Thousands of people read, watch and listed to them regularly. Authors are providing their audiences with news supported with commentary based on their knowledge. There are people interested is such content and ready to support its creators. Topics vary, but thanks to wide accessibility to them, everybody can find what interests them. Maybe I can join that notion too - I thought.

nucleo - dative/ablative singular of nucleus;
sophia - from the Ancient Greek σοφίᾱ - "high knowledge", "wisdom"

That is when Nucleosophia was born. Using my own name, Zofia, I came up with the name for my project. Knowledge about Nuclear (Power) - as I wanted to share and spread my knowledge about nuclear power and related topics. I made first preparations, I signed up to Twitter, followed nuclear related organisations and... the project stalled for three years.

Eventually I had enough head-space to rethink my plan and adjust it. Originally I wanted to use Twitter as my primary source of information. Everybody is there (well, almost), news spread there with the speed of light, there's the largest audience... In the meantime quality of Twitter as a medium has deteriorated. API was hidden behind a pay-wall. It was the decisive "nail to the coffin" as we say. I suppose, I will not be able to avoid using Twitter completely, but my focus has moved to another sources.

At the same time I came up with another project - HerringAI. I will have another article, or maybe even a website, focused on it, as I believe it deserves it. Long story short - in the wake on wide-spread use of large Language Models I did not want to be left behind. I saw potential in using it in categorizing articles in an automated way, giving me more time for doing an actual research instead of manually filling in tables. The project is still in very early stages of development.
